Being COVID-19 Secure

As I prepare to start offering photoshoots again, I am putting in place extra precautions to ensure that I provide a clean and safe space for you and your family. I have carried out risk assessments in relation to all my session types, adhering to strict government guidelines. 


ILLNESS POLICY Clients are required to disclose and reschedule their session if their child or anyone coming into the studio has had a fever or any other symptoms such as cough, runny nose or vomiting in the last 24 hours. To reschedule, please contact me as soon as possible. There is no fee to reschedule.  
STUDIO CLEANING & SAFETY   

1. No physical greetings or goodbyes
2. Masks and gloves will be worn if required by the client
3. Hands should be washed prior to the session by both myself and clients and hand sanitiser is available at all times
4. All surfaces are wiped down with disinfectant, including door handles and anything you come into contact with
5. All floors will be thoroughly mopped and cleaned with bleach
6. Tissues will be available in order to follow government and PHE guidance to “CATCH IT. BIN IT. KILL IT.
7. The bin is emptied and changed after every session
8. Washing/sanitising of all blankets, outfits and props after each session
9. Please bring your own tablets / toys for your children to play with
10. No outside props are to be brought to the studio
11. Until further notice, only one studio portrait session will be scheduled per day
12. No personal contact will be allowed. This includes me arranging your hair, clothes and posing but I will direct you
13. Only immediate family members will be allowed to attend and I ask, where possible, for you to make alternative arrangements for those not having their portraits taken to minimise exposure
14. Viewing and ordering sessions will take place online until further notice
15. No shoes allowed in the shooting area of the studio
16. Prints and products will be by contactless collection
17. I have subscribed to email updates on Coronavirus (COVID-19) from the Government via gov.uk, and will update policies accordingly

OUTDOOR SESSION

1. No physical greetings or goodbyes
2. Masks and gloves will be worn if required by the client
3. I use a long lens for outdoor sessions meaning that I will naturally be more than 2 meters away
4. Everyone taking part in the session must stay a minimum of 2 metres away from me during the session
5. No personal contact will be allowed. This includes me arranging your hair, clothes and posing but I will direct you
6. Viewing and ordering sessions will take place online until further notice
7. Prints and products will be by contactless collection
8. Hand sanitiser will be available for you to use at the beginning and end of the session if you need it
9. I have subscribed to email updates on Coronavirus (COVID-19) from the Government via gov.uk, and will update policies accordingly
